libgaviotatb1 software package provides Gaviota chess endgame tablebase probing library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgaviotatb1
libgaviotatb1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgaviotatb1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgaviotatb1 *
You will get with libgaviotatb1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
